Currency: The Namibian dollar (N$) is currently fixed to and has the same value as the South African Rand (R/ZAR) which is also legal tender in Namibia. Major credit cards accepted. Foreign tourist visiting Namibia can obtain a VAT refund at a port of exit, provided that the value exceeds N$ 250 (keep all cash slips). VAT rate is 15%
Tourism Levy: The levy will be calculated on the invoiced amount. 2% on either bed or bed and breakfast rates and 1% on all inclusive
